Vital Body Therapeutics CBD Tincture Review by Leah Johnson at CBD Origin
In a time where stress and anxiety are at an all-time peak, it’s time you took a step back and did something to curtail that stress and restore your body to its natural calm. That’s exactly the purpose of the product we’re reviewing today: Restore Tincture by Vital Body! Vital Body is a unique company because its products include turmeric in their composition. Vital Body’s slogan is that their products are made by massage therapists with a combined 20 years of experience in treating patients suffering from pain. Who better to treat your discomfort and pain than the people responsible for soothing your aching muscles and aiding in physical therapy? Let’s take a look at the product we’ll be reviewing today and see if this particular CBD-infused tincture is right for you!
Quality
Vital Body crafted their Restore Tincture with U.S. grown hemp that is single-sourced and third-party tested. The turmeric used in this tincture is also certified organic, making this an all-natural remedy for those looking for an alternative to traditional medicines. The hemp and turmeric are extracted by organic ethanol for maximum retention of micronutrients and allows the body to process it naturally. The stevia is added for a smooth and delicate flavor, a thoughtful touch for those who don’t care for the raw and aggressive taste of unflavored CBD tinctures. Check out our review of Vital Body’s Muscle and Joint Relief Cream.
Lab Testing
The results of their third party testing are provided in a PDF at the bottom of the description for the tincture. Their hemp is also free of THC, herbicides, pesticides, and is completely organic and GMP compliant.
RESTORE: CBD + Turmeric Tincture
The instructions on the label said to use a dropperful under the tongue, after shaking well but didn’t say how long to hold it under your tongue. If you’d prefer to add the tincture to a beverage, the instructions recommend water, tea, or juice. The instructions also note that you can use it throughout the day. This was intriguing to read, as most instructions only advise you to use the tincture under your tongue for a few seconds before swallowing. I’ve used and reviewed enough tinctures to know you should leave the tincture for at least 90 seconds, and that anywhere between half a dropper and a full dropper is enough for one dose. CBD is very subjective in that there’s no specific dose. Rather, it’s recommended that you experiment with the amounts (in moderation) until you feel like the CBD is helping you. For first time users, this can be very intimidating. Vital Body solves this problem by listing on their website a full breakdown of how to properly use the tincture, a first in all the tincture instructions I’ve read.
The right side of the label contained the Herbal Facts as well as the included ingredients (Coconut MCT oil, broad-spectrum hemp extract, organic turmeric, and organic stevia). The inclusion of stevia intrigued me, as that’s a natural sweetener that is very popular with diabetics and low-sugar consumers. I wondered if this meant that the tincture would be sweeter than a regular unflavored tincture. With that in mind, let’s check out that actual tincture now!
Experience
I unscrewed the child-lock dropper and took my first whiff, fully expecting a strong scent of hemp. Imagine my surprise when I smelled a sweet and minty fragrance! The scent was almost like a watery candy cane, light and delicate with a hint of sweetness. I didn’t smell any strong hemp odor, nor were my nostrils burned by a harsh scent of turmeric. I squeezed the graduated dropper and noted that the tincture shot up all the way to the top of the dropper with ease. The tincture was such a pretty light yellow color as well (it reminded me of lemonade!). I carefully measured out 1mL (which contains 40mg of CBD) and released the tincture under my tongue. The tincture stayed under my tongue with minimal difficulty, and I marveled at the gentle cooling sensation under my tongue. I rolled the tincture around a little bit and could immediately detect a pure sweetness, definitely due to the stevia. There was a delightful texture of oily smoothness and slightly minty flavor, and I can honestly say I enjoyed this tincture WAY more than I thought I would. Upon swallowing, there was a delicious burst of sweetness and a slightly oily coating in the back of my throat that lingered for a few seconds before fading away into a happy memory. I actually helped myself to three more full dropperfuls because the flavor was just that good.
Overall, I rate this product among the best I have tried. I would have liked to see clearer instructions listed on the bottle on how to use it, especially for first-time users. I would have also liked a see-through bottle so I could estimate how much is left so I could re-order accordingly. But the flavor was absolutely incredible, so much better than I expected. I appreciated that, despite the high dosage of CBD (1200mg), there wasn’t any difficulty in smelling, tasting, or swallowing the tincture. The product packaging could be improved, but the flavor is on point.

Conclusion
And that finalizes our review of Vital Body’s Restore CBD tincture! I’ve gotta say, I was a little skeptical about the addition of Turmeric in a tincture. But that, along with the addition of Stevia, delivered a pure and refreshing tincture that I will gladly promote and recommend.
